Northwood High School Television (NTV) is an entirely student run and operated organization providing weekly broadcast of news, sports and life to the faculty and students of Northwood High School. With the help of teacher Tina Murphy, students learn about the more advanced side of broadcast journalism. The program has produced many extremely successful students who are major influences in the fields of filmmaking and nation-wide broadcast journalism and has received recognition for the broadcast on a regional and national level, walking away with countless awards in fields including cinematography, reporting, editing, and producing.

Also incorporated within NTV is the NHS Video Yearbook Staff, who work closely with FilmEd* Academy of the Arts, a company based in Irvine, CA, to produce Northwood's video yearbook. FilmEd* produces video yearbooks for 12 different schools around Orange County and firmly beleives in teaching students career level techniques in both broadcast and film production. With guidence from company owner David Junker, and his staff, the students are in charge of shooting and editing sports along with other special events for the yearbook, as well as the graphical menus, transitions, and special features.
